Flowers Grown Just for You

Columbine flower

There’s something magical about knowing the flowers at your wedding were planted with your special day in mind. When you work directly with Nestor Flower Farm, you’re not choosing from what happens to be available at the wholesale house that week – you’re part of the growing process itself.

Most wedding flowers travel thousands of miles before reaching their destination. They’re cut in one country, shipped to auction houses in another, distributed to wholesalers, and finally delivered to florists. By the time they reach your celebration, they may already be a week old. These blooms are bred for durability during transport — not necessarily for fragrance, nuance of color, or the romantic fullness that makes garden flowers so captivating.

Our approach is different.

When you book months in advance, your wedding becomes part of our seasonal plan. We grow in broad, beautiful color stories and plant for abundance within each part of the season. We don’t plant for a single stem — we plant for a harvest.

Of course, God — or Mother Nature — always has the final say. Peonies may bloom early in a warm spring. Dahlias may peak later if September stays cool. But that’s part of working with living things rather than inventory.

And that’s where the magic happens.

What Seasonality Makes Possible

Because our flowers travel only from field to venue, we can grow varieties that wouldn’t survive long-distance shipping:

Heritage blooms with incredible fragrance.
Delicate flowers that wilt after long refrigeration.
Garden roses with layered petals and painterly texture.

These flowers thrive when they don’t need to endure warehouses and cargo flights.

What we promise is abundance within your chosen palette.

If you love soft pastels, we grow blush, cream, peach, lavender, and airy whites. If you’re drawn to deeper tones, we plant for warmth, richness, and depth.

Rather than guaranteeing one exact bloom, we guarantee beauty at its peak.

It’s like giving a painter a color palette instead of demanding a specific brushstroke. The artwork is cohesive — even if each bloom is a beautiful surprise.

A Wedding Shaped by Its Season

Spring weddings reflect whatever is awakening that week.
Summer celebrations showcase heat-loving abundance.
Early autumn brings dahlias, texture, and depth.

Each wedding becomes unique not just in design, but in the actual flowers themselves — shaped by that particular moment in the growing season.

Because we accept a limited number of weddings each year (May through September, and often into October as weather allows), we’re able to grow intentionally and design thoughtfully for each couple.

Investment varies by scale and design. For most weddings, floral budgets begin around $3,000.

When you plan ahead, your wedding flowers become less of a purchase and more of a collaboration with the season.

We plant with intention.
We tend with care.
And then we let the garden show us what it wants to offer for your celebration.

The result is something that can only happen once — flowers blooming at just the right moment, in just the right way, for your wedding day.

If this approach resonates with you, we would love to hear about your date and your vision.
