Yellow Flowers Have a Way of Making People Smile.

This arrangement combines buttery yellow roses, creamy peonies, and fresh seasonal flowers from my garden. Yellow can be surprisingly elegant when it’s paired with soft neutrals and plenty of greenery. Instead of feeling bright and bold, it becomes warm, welcoming, and sophisticated.

One of the things I love about growing the flowers I design with is watching color in the garden change throughout the season. I don’t see yellow as simply yellow. Some flowers lean toward butter and cream, others toward lemon or gold, and what I choose to put beside them can completely change how they feel.

Some years I find myself drawn to blush and white. Other years, I can’t stop using yellow.

This arrangement reminds me why.

It’s happy, fresh, and full of summer.
